Cannon Rebel Camera

cannon rebel camera on sale at amazonCanon has long been a leader in camera technology and they were quick to make that available to consumers through the rebel camera line. I know friends who use this camera and love it. Its one of those cameras you buy and use for 10 or 15 years because they are that good and they are at a professional quality level. They recently had a price drop on amazon and I thought that was worth a mention. I haven’t gotten one yet, but with so many endorsements from people I know that take great pictures, I think its just a matter of time really. Check out the new lower prices on Cannon Rebel series Cameras at Amazon.

Memory Cards SanDisk 1GB

I saw this deal on amazon and I had to post about it. I can’t believe the cost of memory has come down sooo much! A 1 gigabyte sandisk memory card is only 20 bucks!! I can’t believe it. I bought one back in April for like 75 bucks. Ok, maybe I overpaid a little but this is an unbelievable deal if you use these memory cards a lot. I know I use them in all my digital devices. My treo 650 phone uses this kind of memory card as well as my cannon elph digital camera. At this price this is cheaper than buying it used on ebay. Imagine that?

The only thing more amazing than that is that the 2 gigabyte memory card from sandisk is 40 bucks. At this rate, you can get more memory than you’ll ever posssibly need at a really cheap price.

Coupon Codes

Keeping with the theme of saving money buying things online, I ran across a site today that has coupon codes for many of the major retailers you know online. CouponChief.com (there are coupons for target, best buy, sears, brookstone, old navy and more)

What is a discount coupon code you ask?

A coupon code is a code that you enter at the point of checkout when you are buying something online. It is usually for 5, 10, or 20% off or free shipping. These are promotional codes that retailers create for sales, special promotions or flyers. You can’t always find them offline, but these sites that list all of them online are great. You can search when you’re buying something and just add that code in when you are paying and voila, discount happens.

For example at cooking.com get $5 off with this code: Coupon Code: C97274

Try it today and never pay full price for items online again.

iPod iPod iPod!

iPods are still all the rage years after they were introduced. Many people love the simple intuitive interface and the ability to carry a large number of songs in a small player everywhere they go. I think the design has been key and they have consistently improved it over time. What’s next for the iPod? Who knows. There are rumors flying around about a larger video screen or more integration with pdas and phones but no one knows for sure what will be the new incarnation of the ipod for this christmas season. For now these are the stellar ipod options on the market:

1. iPod Video 60 gigabyte and 30 gigabyte versions – avalable in 2 colors, black or white. The video screen is good for its size, and it holds more music than I own. I have a black iPod video and I love it. This is by far the fanciest iPod of the 3 available. Kind of the rolls royce of iPods.

2. iPod Nano - this has 3 options for memory size. A 1 gigabyte, 2 gigabyte and 4 gigabyte versions are all available. The Nano also comes in 2 colors, black or white. It is amazingly small and thin, smaller than a credit card and almost as thin. I reccomend the Nano for people who like to use their iPods for running or going to the gym to exercise because its so small and light. Just get an ipod nano armband and you’re good to go. You won’t even know its there.

3. The iPod Shuffle. This is the smallest iPod we’ve seen yet, (except the ipod flea, an old parody joke) and it is litterally about the size of a pack of stick gum. Its basically a jump drive with some software on it to play music and interface with your iTunes software. It starts at $69.00 for the 512 MB version and $99.00 for the 1 gigabyte version. Either way its really affordable and brings the iPod to the masses. I had a shuffle but when I got the Video I gave it to someone else who didn’t have an ipod at all. They’ve been thrilled with it ever since.

Shed ender as seen on TV

This shed ender is a godsend in the summertime if you have long haired pets. The shed ender (As Seen on TV)is great for removing loose undercoat pet hair (on cats and dogs) so they shed less (cats have less hairballs) and are cooler in the summer heat. We have one and we comb through both cat’s coats and it helps immensely. We would otherwise have hairballs everywhere as they slowly shed their extra winter undercoats all over the house. If you buy online they ship quickly and its usually cheaper than trying to find it in a store somewhere. Check it out to buy here online.
