I’ve been reading a lot about YouTube latley. The Good, the bad, and the ugly… Everyone loves the site, but how does it make money? Revenue and a solid business model are the ony things that will keep it around for us to enjoy. I did read a new article this morning about it saying that no one is winning because copyrights are being infringed upon. But I think they will work out something where we all do win. People have been waiting for video on the web for YEARS and this has been the first breakthrough for it. Something has to give on the copyright control end of the spectrum in order to promote, view and share this content. In the mean time YouTube is changing its policy to state that if you upload it, you can’t charge them royalties and if you do you allow them to distribute it (play it) too.
